To foster an increased awareness of the local and global interconnections associated with food production and consumption by directly linking the Mount Holyoke College Community to the Garden through academics, the campus dining experience, and student volunteer work. MHC at the Real Food Conference!

Hey ya'll,

The Real Food Conference is coming up on February 21-22 at UMass-Amherst. It is hosted by the Real Food Challenge, and is going to be attended by students and farmers from all over the Northeast.

The MHC student garden project will be participating-- 12 students will be attending the conference, and our garden manager, Ariel Kagan, will be presenting on a panel about how to start a student garden on campus.

We're very excited about this, and will post about all the activities after the conference!
