We decided to mulch everything including the plots and the pathways inside the plots, because weeds are growing everywhere.
And weeding, is lots of work.
It grows everywhere, very fast.
Shrist mulching.... "Stop the weeds from growing" ha ha...
Beans are mulched.
From right to left: beets, okra, broccoli, mulched.
Shristi watering the mulched plots.
However four bales of straw wasn't enough for all the six main plots. We were able to cover five plots. Still waiting for more....
Cotton bed sheet strings tied to the trellis for support.
We also used stakes to support the tomatoes, tying it with strings.
Here, shows the stake at two ends with strings going back and forth to support the branches.
This week, we also had some animal problems. They ate the beets...
....and broccoli.
This happened only in some plots, where we used old chicken fence to fence the plot.
It's me here, selling lettuce for $3 to a very nice lady.
Showing off the money.... We sold all the lettuces that we brought from garden.
HOORAY!!! ^
